Italfarmaco Spain was created in 1991. It is headquartered in Alcobendas Industrial Park (Polígono Industrial de Alcobendas), in Madrid.

In Spain, the Company is solidly positioned in Gynaecology, Respiratory, Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, Dermatology and Pediatrics. Most of our products are the result of our own research and development.

Italfarmaco plays an important role in opening both local and international markets by licensing its products out to other companies.

The production plant is located in the industrial area of Alcobendas/Madrid and specializes in manufacturing liquids and sachets. The plant is fully GMP compliant.

Italfarmaco invests constantly in technology to ensure state-of-the-art equipment and production capacity.

The annual production capacity of Italfarmaco’s plant in Spain is about 60 million bottles and 120 million sachets for the national and international market. The company has more than 30 third party manufacturing customers and produces over 70 different products.

The plant in Spain consists of a total of six production lines of which five are for liquids (three for large volumes and two for unidose bottles and flasks) and one production line is for sachets.
